Who have you got the Exige insured with? I'm through Henderson Taylor and when I got my winter shed they mirrored my Exige NCB and released it so I could use it on the shed - I did have to pay for the privilege thoughkenny wrote:only having 3 years no claims on this car (9 on the Exige)
Exige V6
Re: Scooby as a daily shed - Talk me out of it
Exige is insured with REIS, Admiral came in with a stonking quote for both on their multicar policy, at least I think they did, the hyper chirpy American girl on the phone wasn't easy on the ears but I didnt want to lose the trackday cover with REIS. Car is insured with Keith Michaels who have a deal with SIDC, best quote by miles.
Car picked up last night, it's an unmodified 2004 WRX, very happy with it. 100 miles done today and used less than a quarter of a tank.
crappy iphone pic till I get better ones.

I think its what turbo cars do. The Evo is the same. It'll get almost 100 miles on a quarter tank and then drops like a stone. 150 miles half tank 200 miles quarter tank and 210 miles light on.campbell wrote:Dodgy gaugekenny wrote: 100 miles done today and used less than a quarter of a tank.

Our Seat Leon Cupra does similar. 75 miles and it still looks pretty much full. 275 miles near emptyBigD wrote:I think its what turbo cars do. The Evo is the same. I always assumed this was more to do with having a linear fuel depth gauge on a tank which was wider at the top than the bottom.
