Lovely car (always wanted on) but I wanted the later A610 version in which Renault sold very little in the UK. Very comparable to the 911 but never really caught on according to the owner reports. May have an Evo buying guide on them that I can look for over the weekend.

Sure there is lots of advice on Renaul Alpine forums but not many cars out there. If you do get one then would love to have a passenger ride as always wanted to see what they were like.

There are a few for sale, around the 5k mark.

Trouble is I don't think that an Esprit and a GTA make for reliable daily transport!

Mind you there isn't going to be much left of the original Esprit the way it's going...

Possibly the ones that I found may be pricey but don't really know what the going rate is. For all I know some of them could have gone through a full rebuild.
