Had my car in today to get my rear track control joints replaced and then the car through Murrays sent to CLCM for a fast road GEO set up. Car drives much better now with it done :D

A big :thumbsup to Craig today who was very helpful. I got them to check my inner pad depth on my rear pads as I noticed the outers are pretty low. Turns out I could really be doing with new disks and pads all round. Craig had me in the workshop with the car up on the lift to show me the inner pads and inner side of the disks.

I wasn't too keen on replacing my disks and pads with OEM parts and Craig has worked out a deal for me that I am very happy with. Getting the 240 AP 4 Pots, disks, Pagid pads, braided lines, the rear disks and pads changed and a fluid change at a very good price :D

So the car will be going in very shortly to get the big brake upgrade :D

:thumbsup again to craig and Murrays

Popped in to see Craig about a certain trackday (details to be announced soon) and happened to mention an electrical gremlin (dash lights, brake light) which he immediately twigged. Went out with a tech and actually helped dig out the fuse box in his lunch and change a couple of terminals.

That's service. :thumbsup

Well, that's my car gone... :( I'm a bit sad but excited about what to buy next at the same time :D It's been a good 3 years.

Anyway, Craig has really been a revelation at MMC and a big part of the reason i'll consider staying with the Lotus brand. I've dealt with him a lot over the past 6 - 12 months and he has never let me down. We've had one or two annoying things on the car that we just couldn't get rid of but Craig always persevered and sorted them in the end. Common sense and friendly service is the best part - I was never worried about asking them to look at something and getting landed with a bill just for the pleasure. In actual fact, the car went in for a final once over the other day to make sure everything looked tip top and again Craig and the guys were excellent!!

So there it is, i'll sound like a broken record but after years of problems with MMC it really has been turned around and is one of the best garages I have ever dealt with! If you are ever considering parts, upgrades, services etc don't be scared into thinking main dealer prices are out of reach, or the service won't be up to scratch, get in touch with Craig and I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised..... and then some :thumbsup

:cheers

I’ve had a few trips to MMC over the last year to have a number of issues attended to :
• 3rd year service
• MOT carried out (while in for service – saved me the hassle of arranging locally on another day)
• Front discs and pads replaced
• Front drop links replaced
• Front and rear tyres replaced
• Sorted horrendous squealing from dry steering column bush

All dealt with by Craig and his staff (occasionally at very short notice) with the same friendly, high standards of communication and service which now seem, in my experience, to be the norm. Costs still seem competitive to me too with the SE discount. Thanks once more to all involved.

Thanks Craig, your money is safe

Just had my car down to get some work done to it. Doors had to be sprayed, as the paintwork had blistered at the top of the door, new window seals and wheel arch liners were installed, and the geometry set up was changed to Fast Road.

Car feels so much better to drive now, more balanced and steering turn in sharper too. Also a lot smoother handling at higher speeds.

Craig also suggested after the car had been checked over, that at the start of next year to get the rear tie rods and front tyres replaced.

Great service :thumbsup

Also a quick thank you to Brandon for taking Kathy out for a test drive in the Evora s. It made me happy seeing her big smile after she came back. Kathy loved the car, but not the yellow colour, and she would have liked it even more if the roof came down with the press of a button.

Thanks again for the phone call yesterday Craig, you helped me out greatly when i was struggling to work out what was wrong.
Between your call and Robins reply on the forum, i managed to get home and fix the small problem.

Eternally greatful, Steve :thumbsup

P.S. This is a brilliant web-site :D

Could somebody please PM me Craig's email address. I'm taking N1 down to them on Thursday and it would be good to make sure there are no issues with what may need to be done. A little bit of a list.

Massive thanks is due to Craig!

He has sorted me a replacement expansion tank for the Esprit in short order.
Hugely grateful for his efforts as it's saved me a load of hassle!

Cheers!

Like everyone else, I've nothing but good things to say about murrays nowadays.

Not only does Craig provide excellent customer service and technical advice, but he regularly does what he can to help me with queries and problems with other cars and gives me lots of great advice.

I really cant recommend them enough.

Just got the Evora back from Murrays, after getting its annual service. Craig had organised all the latest "mods" and software upgrades, and the car is now even more outstanding. Even repaired the "embarrassing" wheel scrape done on my drive, so the car is like new again.

Quite outstanding service from Craig and his team. Service like this increases the pleasure of Lotus ownership when you have a good enthusiastic dealer looking after the car! :thumbsup
