Bloody hell Neil thats a lot of rats!
I once saw a "rat flitting" through the middle of a field, literally thousands of them running down the hill, looked like a black river Guess you are dealing with the same sort of thing.

The place was bloody moving and we are still trapping 50ish a week although its coming down , however its been a bugger to get a grips with , the other pest co let it get into an absolute mess over a number of years and had lost compleat control and was being kicked out for being " furcking usless" according to the farmers wife.

Got a lovely note with the cheque this morning thanking me for all the hard work I've put in....its rather nice when folk do that .

Random curiosity question. what do you do with a 1000 dead rats?

We had to have a huge fire in a dump area ( farmers like to hold onto all sorts of crap)...to get rid of piles of wood, bales etc where 100's of rats were living, now everything goes on the burn pile and is . However if you miss a day of burning the dead, these rats vanish...other rats comming to the burn pile and eat them...
