Yeah they've got adjustable platforms and also an adjuster that alters both bump and rebound damping.
Sounds like you are sorted Kev, doubt you'll need stiffer springs unless you want to optimise for track. Clark Motorsport will be able to set the platforms to give the right cross weights then camber, toe...

i hope you dont mind me saying, but the back of the bootlid now looks like you have just made a pair of ken and barbie matching swimming pools. I dont have an Elise so have no idea if the water will sit there or not, it just looks like it from the photo's?

Think you are right Scotty - Water does tend to sit on a normal s2 rear boot around the top edges, and looking at the pic there is no where for the water to run
Appreciate this is still a mock up - but surely a drainage hole would be required or something..... Or indeed an excuse to go and take it for a burn to "remove" the water from the back

So long as the water is removed by accelerating...braking might give a nice tsunami through the engine slats...
Yeah, drainage required I think...

Yep a drainage hole in each vent will be added, I have noticed though that lotus don't especially seem to care about water ingress looking at the design of the lid, I think they should have really considered some drainage, it's easy to design a lid that breathes heat out but stops most water going in, but these lids just let all water in, far from ideal.

S1 lids are even more like sieves, particularly with their neat mesh grilles instead of slats

Nice to be able to see the beautifully crafted S1 engine of course

Yeah 'cos all those holes you added to them have all been repaired to the same standard and thickness

VX simply has 2 large bits a mesh, so Vauxhall / Lotus obviously weren't too bother about water ingress directly onto the engine.. (even though some do end up suffering from soggy ignition modules!

With regards to the boot lock, if it's not water tight the boot will fill up with water (mine has)

This one is water tight, i've even made sure the run offs for the vents go into the engine bay, there won't be any water ingress on this boot.

Hopefully Kev, the clam/engine lid is the last job, so as soon as they are fitted the car can be driven.
