Particularly on the rally car angle. Would never have believed a modern Lotus would be strong enough for rallying, but I guess the plastic body is expendable, and the tubs are actually very strong indeed.

Couple of rallycross S1s about in years gone by - motorsport bodies with no front splitter for clearance..
Photo of the interior is the clincher for me - clearly still is a 111 tub, with a different subframe, not a rebodied shortened Evora chassis. Question then is, what's taken them so long if it was doable all along in the 111 chassis? V6 Exige mules have been reported for at least 5 years, if not longer!

Some details, double splitter (maybe that's the video effects?), really flared front arches - wide track and BIG wheels. Current Elise style lights...couldn't see a rear wing...
