As a kid I cannot remember what my favourite programs were, but I remember liking Captain Pugwash and The Clangers.

As a student it was Trapdoor :-)

I have no excuse to watch them now, but I suppose grand children cannot be that for away ...

Cheers,
Robin

Trapdoor was good, as it happens I was watching Byker grove last night where P.J. got blinded and Duncan took advantage of the situation by winching the face off P.J's Girlfriend in front of him.

Thunderbirds on Saturday mornings.

(Oddly enough 'cause it wasn't a kids program and I wasn't really sure what was going on most of the time,,I remember being fascinated by Crown Court which was on at lunchtimes when I was at Primary School. Watched it again a few times recently on Alibi TV and can't see what the attraction was now)

To my shame we used to harass Glen Michael at lunchtimes (school), He lives/lived in Galston and whenever we saw him we would follow him whistling the tune.

Cartoon wise, Mysterious Cities of Gold was easily my fave.

Real people and aimed at kids wise, I loved Knightmare.

Real people and not aimed at kids, I had a total retro thing going on and loved stuff like The Man from Uncle, the Persuaders, the Saint, the Prisoner etc..

and for of the era stuff, I loved Red Dwarf and Have I Got News for You (discussing the previous Friday's show with my primary 6/7 teacher the follow Monday...

The Double Deckerz and Banana Splits were my favourite Saturday morning programmes and in the afternoon the viewing was the Rally Sprint or the motorbike scrambling with Murray Walker doing the commentary. Thinking about it that's probably where my love of Motorsport started :thumbsup
