Knockhill and Spa have more in common than one might think!

Basically, if you have the means to take some dry-track tyres just in case, then it's always worth it.

But if you don't, you may as well just go on "wets". If it's dry elsewhere in Fife or C Scotland, it still usually rains at some point over KH. If it's raining elsewhere, it's usually still raining at KH :-)

I'm probably going to throw my "dry wheels" into the Skoda or Danny's ST on the off chance. At least this avoids shredding healthy T1Rs if it doesn't rain.

But as has been said, for 2 hours, it's borderline whether it's worth it or not.

I think you would shred T1Rs with the setup of your car, Mike, unless it was fully wet.

If you are brave enough to use the 888s, they sound like a sensible bet.

With far fewer horses than you, though, I don't need to worry quite so much!!

888s it is then. Might have lots of power but this combined with limited driving ability should make for a fun day. Plan to do as many laps as possible and build up the speed as still getting used to the car.
Would appreciate any pax laps that are on offer from the more experienced guys.

If it is wet might venture out for a few laps in the RS6. looking forward to the long awaited return of the Exige, craig and all the boys at MMC have done an amazing job to get it ready for tomorrow.
