It really is pretty magic. I've spent a lot of time in it of late (4000km and 2 weeks in Europe, will be 1500 miles++ and 2 weeks in UK) and after another day of demos at Christopher Neil's today (another tomorrow, then MMC Friday and Saturday) I've concluded it's one of the best cars I've ever driven. The ceaseless pace, genuinely exotic (not just loud, but cultured) noise, magic grip, and then generally more calm covering of longer distances when you're not in the mood (like last night) make it much more rounded than most previous Lotii I've driven. For something I look forward to the first 5 miles every morning it's ahead of 160 Sport, Mk1 Exige, Sport 350 Esprit, 240PP Mk2 Exige, and even Evora which were the previous winners.
But for me the Roadster - purer looks, wee bit more interior, soft-top for weekend shower-avoiding purposes, and what a noise - would be the one.
Starlight Black, Venom Red perforated quilted leather, Race pack, Diamond Cut wheels, AC, PDC and heated seats (for when I'm not in Norfolk).
That is all - just more interesting typing this than yet another spreadsheet on Premier Inn wifi.
EDIT - Brandon informs me all the test drive slots are full, but photos and drooling most welcome....and I'll be back soon, fear not
