West coast beach camping

It's mainly the lack of small details that put me off .. Like a bed, a duvet, some heat, no draughts, a shower, toast and coffee in the morning whilst reading the papers, etc. Nothing insurmountable by themselves but they do add up to put me off a bit

Can't beat it! If you're prepared you can make it surprisingly civilised. Something about outdoors that makes food tastes better, jokes funnier, Shug look better. Or maybe that's the booze

An inflatable mattress, duvet and a pillow make for a comfier sleep than I've had in many hotels.

Showers and toilets on site are usually pretty good.
