Evora Hands Free

Post by flyingscot68 » Mon Aug 06, 2012 7:03 pm

Just got my Evora at the weekend.

It's got the Alpine head unit fitted with sat nav etc.

When trying to use the phone I can hear the other caller but they can't hear me. I've been unable to locate a microphone anywhere in the cabin.

Anyone out there know where it should be?

Thanks :D

Just had a look, there's a little hole in the headlining just above the mirror and a mark on top of the mirror where I guess the mic was but it's all missing.

At least I know why it's not working now!

Back to the dealer.....

Got it from Murray Motors.
There's a few problems, bit suprrised at some of them but I'm sure they'll sort it out for me.
It's going back in next week to get a couple of things done so I'll add this to the list.

I am sure it is Allan's car.

I do not think he has an account on Scottish Elise's and is more active on the Lotus Forums (http://www.thelotusforums.com/forums/). He is one of the LEGS regional co-ordinators. Do not worry there is nothing to worry about, as Allan is very meticulous with the maintenance of his cars so you can be guaranteed that you have picked up a good Evora :thumbsup Anyway you will find that Murray's are excellent and that if there are any issues that they will sort it out.

Brandon has been very helpfull, I'm not concerned about the problems, they're fairly minor and Brandon has booked it in for me next week. :thumbsup

Cool - I did not know whether this is your 1st Lotus hence wanted to re-assure you that minor niggles do get sorted. MMC is a lot better than the majority of other garages and that keeps their customers coming back :D

Enjoy the Evora, it's an absolutely cracking car.
