I have a MX lid - will that do for the KH boys or does it have to be something with higher levels of protection?

Cheers,

Greg
i've used a motocross helmet before ( without the goggles before anyone asks  ) and they let me on no probs.

Just looks a bit weird :?

Question if you dont have the following:

Insurance
Helmet
Guts
Any idea how to drive fast

Can you still pop along and annoy people for passenger laps?

I'd wondered that too.

I fancy doing one of the instructor days before a track day.

If I could just go along and get pax laps this time, then take my car on track next time. Wasnt sure if that'd be fair play or looked down upon......

Of course you can.

Just hang around the pit wall looking scared and plenty of folk will take you out.

You'll need to sign in as a passenger (normally free - or sometimes a small donation to one of the SIDC's nominated charity) and a helmet from Knockhill (£10 with £5 back when you hand the helmet in).

Yeah, just get along on Saturday and sign in as a pax.
I did too full days going out with folks before I went on myself. Happy to return the favour. :)

I made the mistake of going out with Scotty C. in the wet for my first ever pax laps!

Ali,

I think it only fair that we should point out that yours has been the only Scottish Elise car damaged at Knockhill.

And where was it at the time?

IN THE CAR PARK!

Fecking reversing Volvo's, towbar straight through the front clam as I was walking back to the car...

Would have been safer on the track. :)

Sounds great apart from one thing - I just added the next few days up on my fingers and realised that the 22nd is not the Sunday (like I thought) but the Saturday, and I work. Doh  .

All you guys that haven't been along to KH really should pop along on Sat. Look out for any of us and give us a shout, just find a car with an SE sticker (new or old ;)) and say hello :)

Gutted i can't make it, but I'd echo the sentiments of previous posts.

If you've never been on track but you fancy it, just come up to knockhill and look enthusiastic! I'm never anything less than amazed by the generosity and good feeling that exists at these days..........whether you are driving like a girl and trying to get faster or whether your car is left in the car park and you just want to know what all the fuss is about.

No doubt the day will be less interesting without a blue VX to lap
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

Quite a few from here and the Yahoo group going. We probably won't see your car as usually we're either on track or parked up in the pit lane. Just have a wander into the pits and you'll see plenty of Loti. Ali will be in his new Exige and I'm in a blue S2 111S as in my pic.
