I can lend you my Samsung titchy camcorder if you're stuck...
It has AV in.
Might save some weight, 150g.

Quite true. The problem with recording to flash is there still isn't anything that will hold a decent amount at a decent resolution. The archos currently has about 55 track day clips on it.Lawrence wrote:AndyAndy G wrote:archos make the av500 or Sanya and JVC make them also.
Only have tried the Archos though
Are these not hard drives?

It's the old version of this (with only 1Gig fixed memory):Lawrence wrote:150 grams ??alicrozier wrote:I can lend you my Samsung titchy camcorder if you're stuck...

my remote is 110g and 500 for the camcorder
what model is it Ali?

All my vids are taken with it (the resolution is reduced for the web):

My issues with it are battery life and recording time for trackdays. Limited to 45 mins really with the battery and 25 mins or so with the very highest recording quality (with base 1Gig memory). Would be OK for hillclimbs.

As I said you're welcome to a shottie.
