What happened next?

The buyer paid via paypal on Friday

A string of confusing emails followed re address/pick up

Six Lithuanians turned up at 2200 hrs last night in a Transit Crewbus having driven from Lithuania

The back of the vehicle was full of random boxes, crates etc

They stated they had completed their UK pick ups and were now driving back to their homeland

Not sure I wish to use Ebay again................

:cheers

I sold an old Evo shell to a Lithuanian and had reservations to begin with, but two of them duly turned up having driven from Lithuania and we manhandled the shell onto the transit breakdown van they had and away they went.

Thoroughly nice blokes to be honest. :thumbsup

I 'sold' a daily driver car on ebay in Australia before I came to Scotland. Timeline was a bit tight (sold two weeks before I left). After several messages with no reply from the buyer, I sent a direct/semi abusive one to them to which they promptly replied stating they were on holidays and would be in contact in the next couple of days. That was the last I heard from them. Went through Ebay resolution who told me that this was the third time in a row the 'buyers' had done this. All they could do was refund the selling fees and cancel the buyers account. But there is nothing to stop them setting up a new account and doing it all again. As a result there was no time to sell the car, it's still sitting parked on a property. A PITA to say the least.
