Wheel bearing

Post by tut » Mon Mar 25, 2013 10:31 am

Pretty sure that front and rear are the same, but just wanted to confirm.

N3 is in for an MOT and needs new rear wheel bearing and hazard warning switch, so getting pushed for KH.

Sorry Craig, twas for the switch, already ordered the wheel bearing.

Just came across this and waiting for the guy to call me back. Is that not a TT sticker behind the fuel cap?

if you need a fuel cap for N3
the Genuine locking fuel cap from VW mk3 golf vento etc etc fits you just need to cut the lowest 3mm thicker piece of the plastic moulding off and it will fit and form a gas tight seal on the Lotus tank as well as having just a single 180' turn of the key to lock or unlock the cap without faffing about 1/4 turn forward then1/4 turn back as well as being the correct size to bond into the original alloy lotus cap ~got mine of e-bay Locking one's are found to be more common on vw polos or lower end cars without central locking

Woody may be able to let me have just the flange Lowell, but as you are in Aberdeen the quickest way may be to collect the whole ally carrier from you, and then replace it shortly.
