I did see Nirvana playing the Queen Margaret Students Union in Glasgow in Nov 1991, not long after Nevermind was released... That was a rather excellent experience...

(Also saw Soundgarden at the QMU on the Badmotorfinger tour - Now selling out stadiums...!)

my first gig was meat loaf at the capital I think i must have been 13-14 with my mum . i still like a good bat out of hell.

i also remeber going to see Sigue Sigue Sputnik - Ritzy 1986, I was 15 but my mates mum worked there, so we got in and even got to meet the band They said that music would never take on weird repeating noises
