Re: Watch lovers?

I bought a metal bracelet SKX007 a year ago and wear it most weekdays now, great watch.
Only problem is when you don't wear it, it stops (no problem) but the 1st day you put it back on it still looses up to 20mins until it settles down.
Annoyed me so much I bought one of those time tutelary winders, bought one with adjustable running options (luckily) as to keep time the SKX007 needs to be spinning 1/3rd of the time.

Also have my TAG carrera in the auto winder, it doesn't loose time after stopped but put it in anyway.

What is the opinion - Is it better to have a watch in an auto winder running all the time or let it stop for periods up to a week at a time between wearing ?

Ooooh we need a pic of that ! Is it much much bigger than the baby ? Looks it from the pics.....
Being an older Tuna of 1980 vintage (a 7549-7009) it's probably the same size as the Baby Tuna, at around 47/48mm - A modern Darth Tuna is 52mm wide.

It dwarves the SKX007, but isn't much wider than the SKA369

You also can't buy a strap for that watch now.

Dress watch as opposed to diver / sports, I assume?

I'd have a look at Sinn's offering at that price point - Many positive reviews out there.

I just love this thread, don't understand it upto a point as I have not worn a watch for 30 years, but I can feel the enthusiasm, and maybe even spending £6K plus on a watch, but I love beautifully engineered products, and I suppose that is what it is all about.
