They have that down as the year 2000 when in reality it's 2013
87. Lotus Exige S 7:53.00 157 0 350 / 1080 Christian Gebhart

As a Renaultsport fan and given the non-stop hype and praise EVO Magazine, amongst others, lavish on the M135i I think the fact that the R26.R beats it is hugely impressive :D
That's 230hp & front wheel drive (so obviously the wrong wheels  ) v rear wheel drive and 320hp.

Now lets try the M135i on sticky tyres

Not the Renault's fault as that's how it left the factory
Obviously Ring Times are subjective with so many variances (weather, driver, tyre choice) etc but even with stickier tyres I would have thought the BM's greater power would have paid dividends pulling way on all the straights.

Out of interest what tyres was the Exige running ?

The new 911 GT3 punched well above its weight, no 19 and ahead of all the Ferraris and other Porsches bar one, and driven by an unnamed driver.

The Nissan GT-R never fails to impress & remains the nemesis of the establishment. It's hardly a light weight @ 1736kg but appears to defy all logic with what it's capable off

What would your 2-11 do?

Remember that is a full lap, not bridge to gantry.

Panamera (Barge) 7.50

I'm surprised that the M3 CSL with only 10bhp and over 300kg more was faster than the Exige S ?

I'd put that down to more CSL's being ragged round the ring more times than the Exige?

shed load of variables on fast laps,

a good gauge is usually sport auto (german car mag) pretty much the same drivers setting each time (usually Horst Von Saurma).

quick time none the less!
