Well the main man is just off the phone - hot,sweaty and sore.
He said he was sorry to disappoint all those who were after his exige
From post to post 2hrs.13mins.
His offical timing is a bit longer than that but he had to hang around the start line for about 30mins or so.

cheers guys, thanks very much indeed for all the support, greatly appreciated
im just home from newcastle. 2.13.49 was my official time from my chip, think the clock said 22 mins when i started but the extra bit doesnt count.

chuffed to bits with that, miles 10-13 were the hardest and sprinted the last 800m and nearly colapsed over the finish line. now can hardly walk and work tomorrow could be interesting.....

I did the EK half marathon a couple of years ago. I know what you mean about the last couple of miles and the pain that you will now be in.

hurting big time. just checked the results and i came 18645th out of 36000 ish. not bad for 3 weeks training. cheers again
