Good luck to them getting any BMW exclusives. You could bet the farm they wouldn't do that to any of the Marques they own.

Someone posted a m135 lease deal that was a stoater. Anyone know of similar for the m235 that I can abuse ddtb into getting?

Just been watching all the episodes from when I was away and have to say that Hammond made a complete cock of the 918 piece, Spent the whole time comparing it to the P1 a car he hasn't driven. Banging on about how the P1 couldn't possibly be quicker than the 918. How the hell would he know not having driven both. He is as frustrating to listen too about Porsche as Clarkson is about Ferrari.

Everything else was pretty Meh TBH and didn't see the point of the cycling piece at all. BMW throwing him off track at 120 was funny though.

So, what was peeps thoughts on the show last night?

The crane falling over looked like a genuine and potentially lethal accident. At the risk of coming over all "Elf n safety",.. I can't help but think their cocking about is going to go wrong sooner or later.

Other than that, I enjoyed the travelogue element of the show, and found some parts really amusing. Other stuff was just a bit silly, but I guess that's just down to my sense of humour.

Was yawning through chunks of it - thinking all the time that last weeks and this weeks episodes would have made for a good hour of watchable TV, but a painfully slow 2 hours.

Disagree with the crane thing - I think that was very scripted, but tellingly, not really funny.

YMMV.

Series as a whole was decent though. Kept the awful stuff limited to a couple of episodes and there was good stuff scattered throughout.

Agreed, the whole Burma thing could have been fantastic, only to be spoilt by the typical childish and not particularly humerous pranks.

Low points were May falling from the tent into the river, and "Bridge Over the River Cock"

It's not all bad..........Fifth Gear don't use Seventies classics such as - Steppenwolf's The Pusher as a soundtrack........... :D

That was quick - I've missed the last 3 episodes... Guess I'll need to wait for Dave to show them... :?

In the interim, I've been enjoying the Roadkill series on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... V5mhUslCTb

Bit of a lo-fi Fast n' Loud vibe, but with more of a roadtrip element; worth checking out :thumbsup

Seen "Satan's Rat-Rod" before - very interesting :thumbsup

Quite like Fast 'n' Loud too, if you can cope with Rawling's big heid and hatred for anything non-yank :blackeye

I love fast n loud - they seem a bit crazy, always upbeat, and larking around.

Thought this 6 episode were weak - they really need some creativity in that Top Gear team though - recycled shows can only last SO long surely.
