Probably, but to buy a GOOD S1 now then Honda it to that spec would cost a lot more. DIY now is out of the question, and Craig will tell you that it comes to a lot more than you first think when you reach the end.
It is time to put sentiment to one side for a while and make the most of the time that I will still be able to do a car like that justice, which means buying straight away. I have already had one bad scare recently which acted as a wake up call. Plus N3 would still be MY car, even without the accident, Ian had already taken over N1.
Having said that if the deal goes ahead the car will still have a TUT on it, though unfortunately there are no single numbers left, but I can get N30 TUT for the base price of £145. Would that be OK?

No I kept it, it is now on Ian's Audi TTS, and he still intends to get another Azure blue Honda S1 Elise and the reg would go back on it.

That's been for sale for quite a while. Not to say it has anything wrong, may simply have not found the right buyer yet.

Three months, so as it has had nothing but praise from SELOC and anyone who knows the car, that must be down to price or nobody looking for one, which is unlikely
I have quite a list of questions and that is one of them, so it will be down to what deal we can agree on, I am happy to buy the car unseen as it will be a train down to Bath.

Looked at that woody, like the colour and the spec is good, but considering that the Insurance company only paid out £14K for N1, it is overpriced. Also the boot is taken up with the over the top exhaust, which is mainly where the extra power comes from together with the JDM cams. I really do not want to get in to swapping parts from one car to another, if I buy it then it would be ready to go off to something like Spaz the next day. The S2 has had everything done to it plus it has the S/C, CC, brakes, new Greddy clutch, lightened flywheel, everything that moves has been replaced, plus with the rebuild script and photos you can see exactly what you are getting, nothing is hidden. The car went back to Sinclares for five months to have all the latest conversion parts fitted, latest exhaust manifold, new 2tubular H2 exhaust and sport CAT. It has done 500 miles between MOT's and no sprints or track days
I already have that event, VX220 HH, Scottish_ Supercars HH, our own weekend campers, 3 x SIDC, and probably an Oulton and Cadwell or whatever you track tarts think up. I only paid £9.5K for N3, and other than servicing, tyres, all the normal stuff, I have spent virtually nothing on it, all breakdowns were covered by AA P&L so it has actually been an investment. This car if it is looked after likewise will hold its price well.
N3's engine is getting a little tired now, will not be putting out 300hp, so 350hp along with the torque and UK gearbox, higher 4,5,6, is actually a step up, geo has been done to a high standard, taxed and MOT to October, so just Insurance to sort out.

At that price I would buy an S1 Exige (original)... Enjoy the original spec for a wee while then sell with no loss in money on or upgrade it. Fixed hard top would be the only issue for me enjoy roof off motoring. 340r though?
