Me too.
There was a lot of moaning about it on FB, but it made me happier, and also diffused some of my annoyance at the many road closures.
I thought it was great.
I must admit, my heart sank at the beginning when Karen Dunbar started singing but overall, I thought it was great.
I'd like to think that people looking at this will now see us as maybe a nation of people who don't take themselves too seriously. I like that.
Things like the Duke of Wellington statue with the traffic cone were truly brilliant wee touches.
The John Barrowan kiss thing to put the tradition of Gretna alongside the same-sex marriage bill was also inspired stuff. Crystal clear message that Scotland's administration and its people embrace diversity.
Highlight for me had to be the wee doggies though.
I know fine what Ross' favourite bit was though.
Great stuff. I'm very proud.
Monday night, we're in Hampden to watch the athletics.
I'm not an athletics enthusiast at all but it's a good opportunity to see it live and just know that I have.
There's a significant event happening in my country and I'm going to support it and be positive about it. I don't really care what anybody else says but negativity does make me feel sad and gloomy.
Edited to add - good to see Salmond resisting the urge.
Slow, slow, quick, quick, slow ...
