Thanks for your thoughts Anthony, really interesting.

.....although clearly night and day compared the V6 exige i had similar thoughts about the jump from VX to Evora....on the right road on the right day the VX was simply stunning but 95% of the time i think i have much more fun in the Evora. It also fits into my life much more easily and is much more wife friendly

I'd agree with yourself and Keith on the daily driver - i've done 4k since the end of June and it's a fantastically accomplished car !
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

15 brilliant years, Steve. Longer than all 3 of our last "sensible" cars put together!

That's good going Campbell. :thumbsup

Don't think the Tigra would have lasted that long though.

There's a lot of sense in whats being said here. I think the Evora is one of the best balanced cars they've built, and although I dont like the front design of them, have found myself toying with buying one from time to time.

I drove the Evora S, but for me, it didnt stack up against my 997 GT3 (which I drove to the test drive ironically at the golf course i now live at!)- which was about the same price at the time. (used vs new) Thats just my view though, and I can totally understand someone going the other way.

Love the fact you never see the Evora on the road, love how much fun they are in the wet also! The balance just allows you to slide them around the track with ease. Just a few tiny things that let them down - gearshift & interior (getting MUCH better each year) and front design - hoping it looks more like the GTE/GTC thing - as that looks VASTLY better in the flesh.

Exige S, as much as I love it, agree again - great for track or if you are in the mood, but a bit wearing at other times. Bloody magic in otherways, and a HUGE step on from earlier Exiges - its instantly apparent.

He was only having a shot because I needed to go and take a leak. Thats all..... honestly - you make such a fuss about these things

Yup - lets catch up soon - now that you are back to full drifting strength I think we need to consider the SpeedFest promo video at Alford that Bill has been banging on about............ :thumbsup
