Button, Hakkinen and Magnussen in Edinburgh next week

Post by Mellow Yellow » Thu Nov 27, 2014 4:50 pm

Next Thursday doing a demo in Princes St Gardens for Johnnie Walker. I've lucked in and happens to be my day off 8)

Doesn't sound like any F1 car presence though...

There was mention of a Caparo T1 and a McLaren supercar on a Facebook post.

If you can see it...

I am off the 4th and 5th so will be heading for Edinburgh the 4th. Might also have to swing in by MM on the way through.......Will be trying to get tickets Saturday morning....any suggestions re parking in Edinburgh as not overly familiar with the city centre as usually only get as far as Murryfield. Will need to park up for the whole day as the downside to the trip is that I have to attend some form of 'Christmas Market'.......

Superb idea but suspect hwmbo will want to buy things in Edinburgh and a tram journey at the end of the day, laden with goodies, will not be top of the 'things to do when shopping in Edinburgh for the day' list. :(

:D Change of plan yet again. Parking by MM in Bankhead and taking the tram into town. May also have a couple of tickets going spare :D

Martin, if you have 2 tickets going spare I'll take them. My friend from work and I tried to get some but they are sold out.

I'll be at work. In Dalkeith. Would've been a cracking birthday present too.

Keep the noise down fellas, eh.

Was a bit chilly but decent event, not much of a track and the Caparo T1 could barely get any traction. As a big F1 fan was cool to watch Sky Sports interview Button from a few meters away about his future.
