3 out of 6 - not bad.

Still not much of a life
Nowhere near looking for a Lotus replacement

However...things heading in the right direction, built a good team this year, so roll on 2015, I feel it's going to be a better year.

Goal planning has been done for 2015...

5. Use Triumph more

'13 was such a brilliant year with the wedding, honeymoon and work going really well. As such it will be hard to beat but it's looking like 2014 should be a good one.

All bar 5 achieved .......only managed 2.5k on triumph which was more than the previous year but still not great. All in all a fantastic year.

2015 sees me "celebrating" my 40th birthday and shortly afterwards (All being well) my first child arrives so that's going to consume most of my time!

However hoping to do track day in evora, not fcuk up being a dad and spent more time cycling.
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

Out-turn was 73%. Over-achieved....not always good!

I also had an unpublished goal - get from 12st 3lb to 11st 7 in time for Lisa's 40th birthday holiday to St Lucia in June 2014. I made 11st 9. Not bad, I thought.

For 2015:

1. Restore balance of client work to 50:50 Scotland:Elsewhere

2. Maintain current average fee rate (confidential!)

3. Max billable days 110

4. Secure 3 pieces of direct end-client business (#1 is in the bag already)

5. Get from 12st 4 to 11st 5 by big summer hol (14 July).

6. Buy an Evora (stretch goal!)

After a trying 2014, with a high speed motorbike accident, other half having a major op and a sudden bereavement in January, I hope for a less stressful year.

So 2015 goals:
1. Keep smiling - what doesn't kill you makes you stronger
2. Get maximum mobility out of my injured shoulder - either with or without surgery.
3. Purchase additional land and get whole garden sorted (7 years in the 'planning')
4. Minimum of 3 foreign holidays or trips to make up for lost time last year
5. Get in a couple of motoring related trips (Geneva motorshow already booked :thumbsup )

I didn't post for 2014, so only 2015 goals for me..

1. Get out of debt (accumulated from Erica being on maternity leave, she goes back to work in 2 weeks).
2. Cycle to work more than the twice I managed last year.
3. End the year with no more cars (so, 4 or less!!).
4. (stolen from pete...) Find some sort of job satisfaction.

  • Sell Bugaboo Chameleon and buy a donkey.
  • Get fit, play more squash, get out on the bike more maybe even do a bit of running.
  • Do some cool dad stuff and enjoy time with my offspring.
  • Drive the lotus on the road not just the fortnightly warm up and pootle round the car park.
  • Get the Puma MX working with both turrets and a transfer (work goal)

I was pretty pleased with last year's goals and achievements. I have now mastered the art of making dogs think I am wagging my tail - that was an undocumented stretch goal - this year I will work on a more authentic growl. Grrr.

Woof!

Cycle to work 3 times in 2015? ;-)

I presume you mean #3..
I guess the real thing is to figure out if there is a place for the 944 and associated costs in my life. The Alfa is required for baby transport, the fiat gives Erica a fun runaround, and the Lotus is part of the family. The trouble is, the 944 is another project car, which might be an issue sure to #1 ;-)
