Kenny, you can tell me as no one is reading this. Anyway, not long until the Zenos is here.

Have you got a delivery date yet?

Steve.

I should be collecting it weekend of 16th/17th May.
Trying to decide whether or not to buy the windscreen for it right now, I'm in two minds.

Just popped back for Porsche Edinburgh after getting the Spyder MOT'd.

The phone was pretty busy yesterday with orders/deposits down on the GT4 so lots of people want to get their hands on one.

However the allocation to the dealers has not been confirmed yet. Depending on how many Porsche GB decide to take their may be some people feeling a little left out (which is great for residuals if you are 1st in the queue).

Looks stunning....where do I sign!
Heard a rumour that it's 5 cars per dealer initially (workmate already put a deposit on one) hopefully they can find the balance of keeping demand up but producing enough not to make it too limited. Already rumours of pdk version etc as well so I think there will be enough to go round after the initial rush from those that have to have the latest and greatest

Allocation is just pure speculation. No dealer has been told yet how many they will be getting. Maybe just a nice salesman pitch to get people to sign on the dotted line.

Probably right George, I think once initial hype has died down by the end of the year availability shouldn't be too much of a problem......at least that's what I'm hoping!

Lovely machine, and a close friend of mine has an order in for one so hopefully I'll get a chance to experience it first hand. :)

I think you might be in for a long wait Simon! This is a proper Porsche motorsport developed GT car, at a whole new pricepoint available to a whole new customer base and built in limited numbers. I can't see the OPC's having a few unregistered ones sitting round the back any time soon.

Of course a lot might depend on the magazine road tests but given the praise heaped on the regular Cayman I wouldn't be surprised if they tout this GT4 as the best car that the company produce.

I had a play on the configurator but it wouldn't give me PCP residual values for the car. Spec wise, I don't see much that I'd want to add above the base spec. In usual Porsche fashion, much of the stuff is frilly pieces of trim for which you pay silly amounts of money that you'd never see back at resale time. I think I'd just have the sports seats and maybe parking sensors as an acknowlegement of my advancing years. Solid paint.

The most important bits of spec are all under the skin and all there as standard.

Heard on Pistonheads that the allocation by Porsche GB is only 4 per OPC. Anyone here lucky enough to get their name down early and been confirmed?

Just means that you will see them on Pistonheads couple of months later for £15-30K more than list with the speculators who got in early.
