Carlimits - Walshy Day - Frolic warmup?

Reflecting on the possibility that I'll be taking a very different car to some very different tracks in August.

I did a Walshy day with the crew en route to Spa in 2010 (thanks again, Uncle Robin!) and it was most valuable.

Anyone game?

Either en route again (North Weald, north of London) or in advance (esp if we can tease him North, venue permitting).

I'm looking to do something like this when I get the Zenos Campbell.

Don't know if I can fit it in on the way to Frolic but I'll keep an eye on this thread

4-person events avail 13 and 14 Aug.

Jeez I can't make any of the dates on the whole website - I'll look at leave tomorrow.

I mean last time he said i was so good there was nothing he could teach me, so I'm mainly going along for the company. (I may have redefined "unteachable" a bit.)

I've now had brief contact with Mr Walsh the Andrew.

He's been unable to identify suitable venues north of the border.

But he can offer an SE discount if we fill 13th or 14th August at North Weald.

Any other takers. Other than Pete the Wishful.

I'm very interested... just a bit concerned about the 7hr drive each way in an Elise!

Drive down at same time as me (Robin-stylee 3am dep from Edin), do the day, then stay locally or arrange to meet friends/family in the south. Drive home refreshed on Saturday. Simples.

Campbell, not on the Frolic unfortunately but either of those dates should be fine for me, let me check with Rosie as I think term starts the following week for her and the kids (Louise's moving to High School)
