Basically if I do not attend without a medical reason for not being able to travel, then they would put out an arrest warrant. If they did decide to sentence me in my absence it would be for dangerous driving as they would not downgrade it, a years minimum licence, and a big fine.

However three months is a long time away on my time scale, but I do intend to turn up, not with much hope, but as the only way to try and get a result.

That is the decision now Campbell, but of course I go along as my Solicitor advises me.
However it is out of my hands as regards the date, I asked for November but no go.

Hi David,

Just a quick note to let you know your new trial date. Due to a busy Court schedule this will be in the new year – 7/1/15

Let’s grab a chat soon but please note the new date in your diary. At least you have plenty of time to make your travel arrangements!

Kind regards,

Tut there is a foot of snow in lochearnhead, so if you are not already in Oban give yourself plenty of time.

Good luck

I don't think you could possibly travel in this treacherous conditions with your medical history.

Best of luck if you do make it.

Cheers guys, left midday but hit bad weather between Aviemore and FW with heavy snow, but all clear in Oban. SAGA coach trip staying in the Hotel along with the OAP's Bridge club from Edinburgh, so feeling quite at home.

No idea how I am going to go down tomorrow on the stand with the Sheriff, but will give it my best shot. Wearing a suit twice during the year is punishment enough.

Saga coach trip, you behave yourself in the bar, remember you're a happily married man.

Good luck Sir.
