It made it home safely...350 miles of dull motorway in the rain including an hour long tailback...I'm really pleased with it :D
Just need to learn how to drive a mid engined car properly now :mrgreen:

Just an old normally aspirated 24 valve diesel I'm afraid...slow,but will go forever 8)

IIRC, those little wing grills denoted the 3 litre cars on the last of the W124s. I don't think any W124s were supercharged, although I may be wrong (amateur geek). :blackeye

Wing grilles were fitted to the last of the the line OM 606 multivalve diesel cars.
No supercharged W124's,but the OM606 was available in Europe and North America with a turbo option.
We never got it due to difficulties with packaging due to RHD steering box.
