My friend was out as a pax in the blue GTR and said when he looked at the speedo on the back straight he was pulling high 130 before braking for the hairpin.

He said the braking for duffus was just as impressive as the acceleration/cornering

I've put up a short video of some laps with Martin and Ferg in them.

It was the first session of the day so I was a little ratty (getting the excuses in early :blackeye ).

But in all honesty I was like that all day, for some reason I never really clicked and missed countless apexes and braking points etc. Still great fun tho :)

Luckily Martin kept running into traffic which allowed me to catch up! :damnfunny

Had a really great day.

For the first time ever managed to really relax driving around KH and the difference in overall speed and enjoyment was immense. Also managed to properly 'feel' the difference when messing about with tyre pressures. All I need to do now is learn how to drive properly :D .

Had a run with Mark in his S1 and that was another revelantion. Completely different feel to the car in the corners. So much lighter, and the capability of the car to change direction due to less weight was amazing, even with 12.5 stone of me in the pax seat :P .

Also thanks to all who spoke to or took out as passengers Neil (older bloke), Michael (small bloke) and Matthew (18 yr old)(they came and ran Matthew's silver Pug). This was their first proper track day and they were filled with trepidation but came away full of enthusiasm and a desire to come back with something that was a little faster as all they 'seemed to overtake was someone with a problem' . They were super impressed with the on and off track etiquette of the SIDC crowd....

Have some videos from the day with a fair amount of cars showing but need to figure out the editing software so it might be a while until they appear.....

Another great SIDC track day, thanks John,
A good mix of cars and power.
Loved the wee red mini.

My s1 handled brilliant , although i was driving a bit slow at some corners
Looking forward to pushing it a bit harder on the next track day.

Hear's a wee clip .

ditto, will post a video of my session at the end as well. Managed a 2 63's and a load of 64s can't seem to get any faster, perhaps bigger brave pants?
Top marks for the young lad in the pug, i started out in a £750 snotter at Knockhill, every genuine overtake felt like a miracle! You were going good towards the end as well.

Definitely. Couldn't help looking on and thinking how much fun they must have been having. :-)

Just watched Mark's vid with sound. Blimey! Can you actually hear my exhaust over yours?! That might not bode well for sound tests at upcoming trackdays. :-o
