Most definately!!
Great for keeping you cool in the summer and for clearing the windscreen in the winter. Exige/ Elise aint the most sealed car...

i would have died in europe with out it, kenny doesnt have it though and says it only bothers him on really hot days.

ps for resale purposes its defienently worth the investment!
pps its a quiet time of year for stealers so you can really push them. If you are buying new make sure its an MY07 rather than 06. If 06 you should be able to get a hefty discount!

Guys, thanks for the advice..

Ed - What is the difference in MY06 - 07 models, other than an 70 will be a younger car presumably..

cheers

There's nothing worth paying an extra for AFAIK.
Raised lettering on the rear, slightly different headlights and that's about it.

Dont know if its lies or not but a recent vist to MMC has Graham telling me that he was struggling to sell the Exgie S he had cos it didnt have air con.
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

not really sure TBH, i believe the headlights are different and 07 cars come with an ipod connector. Stealer would be the best person to ask.
http://www.exiges.com may provide some more help. I wish i had lost only as much as gareth! Ive got cglocks which do 70% of what harness do so i wouldnt write of the touring pack completely. You can also retro fit a harness bar and harnesses to go around the seats should they be required. Does murrays not have a p/p car in black at the moment?!Cheers Ed

The S they have there is the one i test drove and it had neither Sport or touring nor did it have air con and it has been sitting there for sale for a number of months now.

The only reason i wanted the sport pack was because of the seats - they look cooler..

I believe they do have a black 190 with sport and air con and this is the car Graeme is trying to sell me.. It does fit the bill in terms of spec that i was after but looking at the second hand prices of cars for sale just now it will have to be a big discount of the screen price to seriously tempt me.

cheers

Yep no poofy air con in mine  It can get quite hot in there but thats only on very warm days, not really a problem in Scotland. As Ed said I wouldnt fancy it in 100 degree heat travelling around Europe.

If I was buying a new one tomorrow I would almost certainly spec air con.
