Couldn't really say no to Graeme after that, not that I wanted to

Well graeme has been on the blower to me a fair bit lately.. The only reason i was asking about that Drive the deal thing is that an identical car as the one graeme is trying to sell me is £1100 cheaper plus you deal directly with a main dealer anyway?!?!..

i know it's not huge money but it's still worth enquiring about.. :)

cheers

Sports pack or just harnesses? Does the twin oil cooler mean anything to you? It didn't me but I wanted harnesses for track. I still use the harnesses everyday but I'm only driving a mile to work.

If you want to save some cash, Ed from here is selling a black Exige.
OK, so it's a touring but you could maybe add the seats and harnesses later.

As a fellow SE'r, I'm just looking out for you. I've been there and paid far too much for cars only to loose £5K in 10 months by buying from a dealer.

If you are fixed on a black one with sports pack....good things come to those who wait. You could get a great private deal with winter approaching ;)

There will be those with the Exige looking to upgrade to the Exige S

Eds is great value as it does have the 12 months warranty left. Boring colour, but a good buy at the money :thumbsup :D

Dunno if this is still the subject.......we seem to have hit a big thread drift here...

Aaaaanyway. bought a car through drive the deal in jan & it was all absolutely fine.

You are basically buying off of a dealer....they only act as a broker (getting big discounts off of dealers by guaranteeing big order qtys).

we got our car trailered up, delivered to the door (aberdeen) absolutely no problem.

Ours was a vw & we saved about 3k on our car (compared to local vw dealer) & that was a on a poxy £15k car.

Dunno if you get the same % savings on loti (low vol) but be rest assured that all warranties & come back is as per dealer & there's none of the pre-registered nonsense.

they don't do trade ins tho.

good luck.
