Wheel alignment Aberdeen / shire

Post by kneedoon » Sat Mar 12, 2016 2:38 pm

Is anybody able to recommend a good place in the north east to go to get the S1 Elise geo done now that I have almost rebuilt it ? I want somebody that knows what they are doing and will be prepared to add / remove shims as required for camber / caster etc.

Also is the 340r road spec seen as the one to go for as a road car with occasional track use ?

Any thoughts on ride height I'm using Quantums ?

Thanks

340r settings are as good as any to go for, ride height 110/120 or 115/125 are a good combination of road with track use.

Wallace Performance, Tullos, have a good reputation for both RR and alignment, so a good place to check out.

John Bruce at JD does old-school alignment and knows his way round a Lotus...

JD Motor Engineers, Insch. Quite a few of our guys have taken their Elises there with good feedback.

Sorry, yes I should have been more specific. John is s decent guy. Right next to the train station too if you need an easy way home.

Dave (who used to be the D in JD) would also sort you out but he's got his own place at Glenkindie but it's a bit of a bugger to get to and from.
