drive it day spots

Post by Dominic » Sun Apr 24, 2016 7:22 pm

I did not make the official drive it day event, but in my local travels today, I have spotted,

BMW 2002 red,
Ferrari (something big and new) black
Ferrari 360 Modena red
Triumph Herald white
S1 elise orange

Anyone else notice an increase in interesting cars today?

Drive it day is a national thing not just the one you're at Campbell. Super Car drivers club had 2 events running, one in Englandshire and one group doing the NC500. Both were well attended by all accounts. Maybe that is what we should do sometime and SE NC500 just for fun.

SE NC500 could be great. And disastrous all at once, lol.

Maybe next year.

I don't know if the whole "drive it day" is a newish thing, or if it has passed me by in years gone by. Either way, it certainly seems to be catching on. Wonder if the RAC / AA etc have a busy day.

Helps explain why so many other interesting bits of hardware around, then.

Albeit a Saturday might be a better choice. Too many Sunday Drivers out in force!
