Why's the pound on it's knees? Because we're leaving the EU - so hello import levies into the rest of Europe and probably having to negotiate those on a country by country basis when Brexit finally takes effect. There will be a mass exodus purely on the strength of the extra admin created for companies...

Lotus import engines and boxes from Toyota so it will cost a lot more to get the component parts here. Do the clams not also come from from abroad (France?)

It's a double edged sword, our charging rate has dropped relative to our competitors outside of the UK. However our raw material costs have increased 25%-30% we have also noticed suppliers trying to use it as an opportunity to increase prices. I wish we were able to buy steel etc from the uk but that has been all but destroyed by cheap imports.
