Campbell - have a check can you? - Just so I know if my emails are being received or not.campbell wrote:Don't think I got it...
If not Ill get it resent through to you. Plenty of time to enter - so don't panic just yet; but I would feel more comfortable knowing that my mailshots are getting to their intended audiences
Re: Soapbox tech
Nothing since 2016 event comms Tony.
What domain is it sent from?
Resend and I'll watch for it. Might be a spam false-positive :-/

I put a picture of a question mark and said that based on last years efforts it wouldn't be completed until midnight the day before the race.

Re: Soapbox tech
I have a potential second bite at the soapbox racing cherry for any teams that are interested in a wee bit of pre-RDSF testing. I'm working with the organisers of the Ballater Victoria Week to bring a small bit of RDSF to their annual Parade on Sunday 6th August. If things work out we might try and race some soapbox boxes down the main street (last year during the parade the street was lined about 5-6 deep with spectators). Its not a massive hill - but with a starting ramp to quickly build speed I think it would still be a giggle once we have the chicanes and ramps in place.
Appreciate that Ballater is a bit of a trek for some (twice in August) - but Ill report back once I've finalised the plans and it'll be opened for you all to have a shot if you like.

Would have considered Tony but Team JPS will just be returning from pre-season testing at Pikes Peak, Colorado that weekend

Mk2 is underway.
Sourced a couple of identical Apollo Chaos bikes (appropriate!) from Tam at Recyke-a-bike in Stirling.
James has already helped strip off the brakes and forks.
Rear chassis mods are next, to find a way to mount the forks "flat" and deal with load-bearing issues.
Great to be underway but time is tight. Haven't even started on the new steering lashup, lol.

Looks great Campbell! Looking forward to build updates.
We move house on the Friday before RDSF so the updates to our cart are going to be very limited.
