Took the kids along again this year - they really enjoyed it.

Shame they can't do a bit more to improve the viewpoints. Ever since the track had the left hander added at the top of the hill rather than going straight up it has been harder to see anything (especially for the little ones).

Got a seat in the "Gransdstand" towards the end of the day - that was good.

Commentator is brilliant - full of information about all the old cars.

Such is the volume of posts on this section, this is a few years old. It's on again on the 1st September and I'm planning on going.

Anyone in SE running up the hill? There's been remarkably little chatter on this event, seems like it could be loads of fun. I'll keep an eye on it for next year, this year we'll just go to spectate. 👍

There are a load of us heading up on Sunday from Edinburgh (inc 3 Lotus), meeting at the small car park at the bottom of the access road to Hillend Ski Centre, meeting at 9am, if anyone wants to join the convoy.

Unfortunately I'm not able to make this now - slim possibility I can do the afternoon, will check when it finishes although website doesn't seem to state a finish time. I think it'll have to be put in the diary for next year for me
