Sail boats

Post by Stephen » Wed Oct 11, 2017 6:19 pm

Does anybody the best (cheapest) place to buy a sail boat. I have a colleague who is looking for a 32-35 ft Bavaria, he's from Aberdeen so doesn't want to spend any money.

Cheers

No worries.

I see there's a Bav 31 there he can look over, maybe on the tight side though

If he doesnae want to spend any money why is he looking at buying a boat? More of a money pit than any house or car.

As per the old saying, "only two truly happy days with a boat, the day you buy it and the day you sell it"! Can you get nitrons for it to improve the handling?

The ones he is looking at are all circa £30-35k but they are through brokers. Any idea the best places to look for private sales thereby getting a better deal and cutting out he broker / sales nonsense.
