The group at Spa was certainly more upmarket, made my Exige seem pretty average. Sounds like more day at Oulton was for budget cars 😂. No seriously we did have and iffy night at Snetterton about 3 years ago, where people just didn’t want to let you pass. This trip was a pleasure.

Gordon - ive had 2 bad experiences with Javelin
1st one at Donington - a race car testing took me on an apex as I was approaching it
2nd - people overtaking me on the wrong side
Bunch of amateurs- watch out
Lots of 1st time trackdayers
Hi
We’re just back from two Javlin track days at Spa, driving standards were very good. A huge difference in cars on track, everything from Lamborghini Hurcan to a Clio.

Must admit the sighting laps were a bit chaotic, Peeple leaving pit lane and straight to racing speed 😂, at least one off during our sighting laps. After that everyone very well behaved. Just had to check mirrors frequently as some rapid machines on track.

All of us really enjoyed if even though the track was like driving on ice when it rained which resulted in a few binned cars.

Cheers
Yup echo Kinger feedback. The cars were all pretty good, ranging from the Performance and Gt3s etc - and a good mix of everything in between, but by and large no muppetry - actually had more issues with twats on the last LOT day! (till Golding sent them home :damnfunny )
AMG GT-R
Atom 4
Lotus Esprit S4S

Worth checking the Hull ferry if you haven’t already. Usually cheaper.

Harwich is cheaper but a bit of a pain for a drive. Busy time being school hols so always a bit pricey.

Last year I just drove down to Folkestone, stayed in Pikey lodge overnight. Through the tunnel first thing in the morning and drove down to Dijon and came back via the tunnel with a stay in Calais. Cheap as chips 🍟

Folkstone is 200 miles further away from Hull. But 78 miles nearer at other side
And its £170 return
Im tempted to go down this route

Cant believe how expensive the Ferry is. Decided to visit family and then take the Chunnel. Looking like £166 but with clubcard vouchers only £56. 8) :thumbsup
