Fat chance. General admission, soggy seats in the public grandstands and £4.50 a sausage roll.

Top day out tho. Hope Beaton Jnr is enjoying the experience!

I'm offshore just now but he sounds like it's ok - he's just thinking about the money! His first car is on its way for his 17th birthday in a few weeks :D

Was an article in the local rag about prices and not allowing visitors to come and go, and the effect it's having on local businesses (no upturn in business whatsoever)

Yup. R and A are literally taking the p!ss now. But Carnoustie Club captain may have nailed the coffin after his remarks about Carnoustie being too small for The Open now. Fool.

I wonder if no readmission will apply in 3 yrs during 150th Open at St Andrews...

Good to see Tiger back.

Gone from Level to -6 today so far, missed Eagles on the last two holes by 2". Playing too easy though need wind/rain tomorrow.
