In the triple inlet valve does the middle port open at a different point from the other two - I see all the cam lobes are in phase, but the valve pockets are obviously different - so I was wondering whether the third valve opened earlier/later than the other two?

engine collected from builder today and got it home safely:

the exhaust manifold, turbo and wastegate are on the bench going for zircotec coating before going onto engine.

if you look behind the engine, further into the car you will see a brand new Elise windscreen that I picked up over the weekend, made for a Miss Daisy style of driving home! - anyway all home safe and sound.

Out of interest because I've had ideas about how I'd go about achieving this type of convertion. How do you plan out the pipe work, manifold, coolers etc and get it manufactured to such accuracy. Obviously by the question I'm not an engine builder. Are you using stock parts that you just have to find the right orientation, or is the install a well trodden path with the kit available?

Friday night glass of wine in hand type of question. ;-)
