well, a Friday night glass of gin & tonic reply,
this conversion is a well trodden path and I have been advised by someone who has been involved in these for a while.
Pro-Alloy do have an Audi exige kit for things like charge cooler, baffled sump, rads and fuel tanks etc
I am however coming to the end of my skills as soon as it is plumbed in, as I then need all the electrical work doing.
I have enjoyed it though

Excellent build Stratosboy. Would a standard cowl fit over the engine?

Thanks Mongo, do you mean an Elise s1 engine cover? - then yes as things are currently, but I have yet to fit the bulkhead and tanks to the bulkhead which would prevent an elise engine cover/cowl fitting.
Some people have put these engines into standard elise body shell so it is do-able. obviously I have a bit more room with Exige clam.

Yep s1 cover. In my ideal world my car will look as close to standard as possible

brackets for Handbrake (Hi Spek) spot calipers machined - and can now be fitted. I have a spare which I used as a template if anyone wants to borrow it if planning to do this.

Lovely big chargecooler! Are you running the related air/water coolers sandwiched at the front with the radiator? ...or something different. Great build 👍

Thanks Ferg.
Yes I have a slim chargecooler rad underneath main coolant rad with sucker fans on top. All provided by Pro Alloy, great kit. You can see it at the bottom in this pic, the tubes with blue rubber glove fingers are the feed/return for the Chargecooler, now need to route the pipes through the NS sill.

Its amazing that it all fits withing the std S1 rad shroud.
