All booked up, and a list of parts order to prep the car.... I will be busy 😁😁
I hope that you have ordered enough sets of brake pads.

I decided not no when I thought I'd be there on my own.

Draft route idea from central Scotland.

Haven’t done Brampton to Piercebridge in many years but memory says the section across the heights at Alston is lovely.

Views?

Campbell,

I have provisionally added Moffat as a stop for lunch, but anywhere along your route for a break is fine. Even if it’s just a stop at a petrol station for a sandwich while refuelling, then that will allow some leeway time for the journey and get us there a bit earlier. We will have a nice curry at the end of the driving anyway. I have looked at your route on Google Maps for timings which indicate around about 6hours from Edinburgh to the Premier Inn.

From my calculations;

08:30 Depart Westhill
08:45 Meet Gary in Peterculter
08:45-10:45 Drive to Edinburgh and refuel ⛽️
11:00 MacDonalds Forth Road Bridge
11:00-12:30 Drive to Moffat
12:30-14:00 Lunch in Moffat
14:00-18:30 Driving to Premier Inn
18:30 Premier Inn
18:30-19:00 Check-In and freshen up.
19:00 Meet for curry (Ed has booked this time)

Anyone else joining us on the drive down?

1. Campbell
2. Steve
3. Gary

Quick APB.

I’ve just had to cancel my Oulton place (should still be ok for Donny).

Paul’s been a star and given me a credit for the day.

So just wanted to mention it here as don’t think there’s a reserve list on the go, therefore a chance for someone who is not booked as yet.

Any interest, direct to Paul @ LoT

Meantime very much looking forward to a couple of days off at the wheel of my wee Elise, and some good company too I hope
