Have they been taking styling tips from Elon Musk :-)

Always good to see Lotus bring out a new car, but who knows whether there will be a market for it! Hopefully Lotus, before they do the work :-)

Yeah, those photos are from the 5 cars bahar "launched" but didn't in 2010.

One difference between then and now is that they have the money to develop and build the Elan now. Time will tell if the article is accurate or not.

There was a suggestion about s month ago in Autocar that a new Elan might be the next car produced. They had a fairly bland, Boxter like, image but it was their own rendering so still just speculation. I really hope there is something new arriving soon as they need it to revitalise things and generate interest.

Expecting this to be the soft top version of the Evora... On a modified Evora chassis, with a Volvo power train.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

When i test drove an Evora with Ian (May last year?) he said that he had been to the factory and when he mentioned upcoming cars and the Elan as a name he was told "Watch this space".
New Evora due first AFAIK (2020?)
Now with half an engine
