MSV Oulton Park/Cadwell Sat/Sun 18/1 & 19/1

Andy G. has suggested these two dates - I am likely to do the OP date but perhaps not Cadwell. Will decide mid week once the weather forecast calms down :-)

All three days on this list:

Was just chatting to Mr. Gravel and we're going to decide Wednesday based on what the weather forecast looks like. I think this could be a great wee blast; wasn't keen on Cadwell, but love Donny, so have decided I will do all three, if any. We can have a rematch of the mighty ST vs the Elise ... was neck and neck last time out, assuming you haven't sold it already?

P.S. Anyone else thinking about this ... great way to kick off the year :-)

It could be a great start to 2020, now the 311 has been liberated from the showroom!

Weather looking encouraging but wanted to leave it till closer to the time to ensure I'm not spending a few days getting drenched.

ps - noticed LOT have Donny on Saturday which we could change to and do Cadwell Sunday.

Personally, Id rather do Oulton, but happy to go with the consensus, would rather do a LOT day that MSV.

Ed, what car have you got anyway? Still the Evora? There are two Spa dates in March if you fancy them ...

Hope you have a good weekend gents. 👍

First time that I have heard of any trackdays being done in January from any of the usual SE bunch.

Is this a first, or has it been done before?

Steve.

I think it was a first for me. Mostly happened because Andy sprung the 311 from Leven and decided he wanted to take it on track "one more time" before selling it.

The weather was really lucky - we had to deal with frost/ice first thing at every circuit which meant delays to the day getting started, and comedy grip in some corners, but the sun was out the whole time pretty much!

Next year might leave it until March before venturing out on track I think - we won't be that lucky with the weather again I think!
