LGW is a better shout if there is still time to arrange it. Simple access from M23 and generally been quiet or moderate traffic each time I’ve driven in
Flights booked and strong possibility that Pauline & Kathy could jump in a train out of Heathrow and we would pick them up at the relevant station.

Yeah worth a look.
LHR was famous for being poorly connected to the west although I think the Elizabeth Line has improved that.
Shame the flights are booked
. STN also a good shout as quick access from M11. Next time
