Douglas Park of Hamilton are good, I used them when in BMW ownership for servicing etc. They got "dealer of the year" award a couple of years back so must be doing something right.

Before getting the S1 Mandy and I were looking at the new mini's or some 3 series from Douglas Park. Weekend one we turned up in the celica dressed in jeans & T-shirts are were flattly ignored.

weekend two I turned up in the elise wearing a suit and had a salesman at my side within seconds.

His face was a picture when I asked why he didn't want to know me the week previous :D

I know the feeling turned up at Mercedes glasgow in the astra van a while ago again jeans and polo shirt, not a sniff, few weeks later elise and smarter jeans and a jacket, like flies round a freshly laid sh*t !

well I popped along to Douglas park today and looked at this...

It's given me food for thought, they also offered a trade in option of 7k for the Elise which was reasonable for a stealer !

Go for the manual unless you really need the auto. You will lose most of the economy gains the diesel gives you with the auto box (assuming your going diesel for the additional economy).

oooh ta

Fancy putting my name down on a Panamera and the new V10 RS6, but I suspect the Audi won't be a profit-maker like the Bee-ems, and I've probably missed the boat with the porker
