Please furnish me with a pair of Adidas Kick or Hi-tec Strada. I've spent so much money on Loti that I cannot afford to even darken Shoe Expresses door these days. May as well chuck in a pair o' Ron Hill tracksters as my pins have seen better days. Oh and please also supply some dark blue paint for my pepper sprayed clamshell

Stroke yer reindeer for me

All the best

Dear Santa

As you obviously realise, only woofters wear shoes, so it is clear that this request did not emanate from me, so please fulfill my original request of Girls Aloud as my Chrissie present for the period of Xmas Eve to Hogmanay.

tut

ps please remind me, are they a large enough group to work out at one per day, or do I need to include Kylie and J Lo as well?

Dear Santa,

Iss year I wud speshully like:
  • Some Track Day passes especially to places like Oulton
  • The funds - and permission from her indoors - to go on the French Frolic
  • A full service at the Lotus Factory
  • Front clam respray at Steve Walker's in Bathgate
  • Someone to adjust my windows again so as they don't leak
  • A saddle bracket fitted to my exhaust so as it doesn't rattle any more
  • A set of the Victory alloys wot you can't get anymore
  • Some S2 suspension set low, or maybe Nitrons but with "middle of the road" spring rates so as I don't shake my fillings out along Linlithgow High Street
  • Another go on the Nurgburgring and all the laughs that come with it
  • A lightly breathed on cylinder head upgrade with loads of torque, a bit extra at the top end and better fuel economy (oh, is that just a PD diesel engine then?!)
  • Enough time to go snowboarding
  • Someone to finish off all the DIY so that our house can get passed by Building Control before the warrant runs out
  • And a new baby around the start of May would round it all off nicely :-)
Fanx in advanze!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our readers!

Santa

Any chance I could persuade you to start delivering presents earlier than Xmas Eve next year?

My couriers are making an arse of it, and I'm still at work trying to sort out the resultant issues.............the troubles of using human rather than elves & reindeer presumably?

Would happily lend you my Hethel sledge for a few weeks in the summer to compensate????

Present wise, if you could slide in a new light weight car (<500kg) for myself , and an year free from MMC, i'd be delighted.

cheers

Andy

Dear Santa,

can I just get my teenage daughter to be a loving and caring person?
Maybe then I would have more time to go to the gym, or work on the car, or just drive it!

Failing that, can I just have the following for the Exige:
-1 MOG seat
-1 cage with harness bar
-harnesses
-plumbed in fire extinguisher
-battery cut off
-and a sponsor to get tyres and colour change?
pleeease?

what is this saddle bracket thing you speak of?? :? since my exhaust fell off last year, which was a combination of the cat bracket disintegrating, and none of the exhaust hangers having coverplates, my exhaust has been squeaking like bu*gery. shug diagnosed this as the exhaust rubbing against the coverplates(which i guess is why they were removed previously).

is your rattle anything like mine?? and therefore is a saddle bracket any use to me??

Tom,

Not having heard your rattle, I can't be certain :-)

However, the saddle bracket is a loop of metal, bit like a horse's bridle (think that's where the name comes from!) which wraps around the exhaust can and secures the tailpipes to stop them bouncing around. Mine was discarded during an exhaust refit a few years back, we thought "that's not doing much is it" however it was preventing the tailpipes bouncing off the can and also - more importantly - the clam aperture, which was actually getting singed due to the heat!

Robin rescued an old one and we are going to re-fashion in next time I'm at a Spanners at Lawrence's hopefully.

Don't know if the above helps!
