Cheers Guys... I called the Copthorne. They've only got 15 spaces underground on a 1st come 1st serve basis... after that it's a case of parking it in the NCP car park. Not sure I fancy that.

So, before I book Ardoe House... this Patio place, does it have resident parking... or is the Elise gonna get tanned?

Just has a big car park.
Just book ardoe. Lovely hotel and really nice leisure facilities.
The patio is still a taxi ride into town....or a very cold 15 min walk.

Cults hotel is good & reasonable (£8-10 quid cab into town).

moonfish cafe (in town)
Nargile forest avenue (Meze) within walking distance of simpsons.
Dizzys (good for a grub & a pint near Simpsons)
rusticos (italian) town
Ban Thai (Thai :D ) town
Silver Darling (expensive seafood) at the beach.

Owned by Ricky Simpson and run by his son Kevin.

It gets my vote. The food is good (european), it is my prefered choice when I am in Aberdeen for work.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Thought it was. He's a friend of a friend and I had a few messy nights out with them when I was a student.
And married (Kev) to an ex Miss Scotland who is a bit of a looney.
Think they live in London now though.

Simpsons is good if there's a group of you but it can turn into a bit of a dining hall when it's busy if there's just two of you.
IMHO
food is fine tho.

Do they still own Charlies too....?

Just make sure you don't get a room in the recent extension if there's any high winds...

OK.. all booked. The kennels are booked for the dug, The granma is booked for the kids, The Norwood Hall Hotel is booked for the drunks.

Seems close enough for a Taxi, but far enough away for car safety.

I'll definitely be trying some of those suggestions for drinks/food... so thanks,

Andy.

Cafe 52 (recent favourite) or Bistro Verde - both for bistro (obviously) type food (Verde is v.fishy).

Both in The Green (which is not green).

Have fun :D
