England Vs Scotland 6 Nations

Post by Kev » Sat Feb 03, 2007 5:55 pm

Is it just me or does watching Scotland play, feel as stressful as when your car is in for its MOT. Nice to see our defence held up quite well in the 1st 20 mins and then after we scored our try, we all of a sudden forgot how to play, then England were all over us  .

I'm sure one of the commentators would like to wrap Jonny Wilkinson up in cotton wool or bubble wrap, every time a Scottish player goes near him he shouts penalty.

Here comes the second half

Yeah, we got thumped.
BBC commentry...sick of their biast opinions. Had to listen to one of the commentators argue that England should of been given a penalty.

The main commentator was not bad tho, it was his side kick.

:sheeplove HUMPED!!! :sheeplove

In one word: outclassed! We just couldn't get settled in the 2nd half. England did play really well in the 2nd, or was it we played worse!! Glad to see Wilkinson back on form  after being injured for so long, he is a world class player, even though his try shouldn't of been given

One thing that really annoyed me was, how many times we got duped by so many dummies. One of the first things I got told when I started playing, was even if they try a dummie, tackle him!! If they get the ball away fair enough, it saves you looking like a complete idiot standing there twiddling your thumbs as him and his support get through. :chainsaw

Bring on Wales!!!

I dont think the result gave a good indication of the game - i've seen us getting a MUCH worse humping than that

Second half was very dissapointing tho :(

Switched over part way through second half....

I nearly bought a newrugby shirt last weekend.. Spent my £40 on beer on Friday. Much better value.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Wilkos try should have not been given, he played well though. Nice to see a decent performance from us for a change. At the end of the day its just a game. :)

TBH I didn't think England played that well - well enough to beat us - but having watched the Wales -Ireland game, I think England may struggle against both! :?

Here's hoping Scotland improve over the next few games!

Yesterday was far too nice a day to sit inside watching TV

The crisp but sunny weather tempted Skye and I out for a run on the motorbike. Never saw any Elises, in fact we havn't see any out for months. What a waste of cars :( If anybody wants their car exercised while they watch sport anytime then I will volunteer.
